Well, I finally had time to make a Link Up For Pink card. Yolie, Gaby, and Celeste have really done an awesome job in bringing a focus to breast cancer awareness to the crafting world. They have over 80 sponsors and 3 thousand of dollars in prizes (152 prizes altogether). I urge you to make a card for LUFP and link it in support of this great cause. You can get more info and link up at any of these blogs:

Here is my first entry.
I used my pen holder and Cri-Kits metallic pen to write the caption and then cut it n my Lynx. (it does such a better job with this than my Cricut)
For this card I made a center step card. I have been wanting to make one of these cards for a while now and just kept putting it off. I found a tutorial at Split Coast Stampers. I made some pictures to help explain it. (I am such a visual learner....I think everything should be in pictures LOL)
Start with a piece of card stock that is 5 1/2 by 11 inches.
Make a cut line 1 inch from the left side that starts at the 1 inch mark and ends at 6 1/2 inches. Repeat on the right side.
(or you can just download this free svg cut file or pdf template LOL)
Score the sides at 1inch, 2 inches, and 6 1/2 inches.
Score the middle section at 5 1/2 inches.
Refer to the right side of the diagram to see how to fold on the score lines. M stands for "mountain" so the fold goes up and V stands for "valley" so fold goes down.
I have to say this is one of the easiest step cards I have tried. I was surprised. You should definitely try one of these if you have not done so before. If you are anxious about it just download the pdf template above and cut and fold where indicated
And of course I added some paper flowers. This time I used my own cut file that I will share tomorrow.
Be sure and go by Yolie's, Gaby's and Celeste's blogs to see all the fabulous projects that have been linked up.
Celeste also posted another card she made using some of the flowers I sent her as the winner of the link up party. :)
