Thank you card with roses

My pastor's wife is battling cancer and yet she still managed to send me a card and a book to offer me encouragement. I can not find the words to express how much she has inspired me. I have seen her deal with quite a lot and yet she trusts God completely and never worries. She completely gives the situation to God and does not fret over it. She is such a great example of  trusting God and showing his love.


I made her this thank you card.

I used Penny Duncan's rose file for the roses. I cut them from white cardstock and inked them with Barn Red distress ink. The leaves are from my cut file and were cut from green cardstock and inked with Frayed Burlap.

I made the white mat with the loops on it.

Anna Griffin D'mask paper was used. It is flocked and feels very lush.

I do not remember where I got the frame. If you recognize it, email me and I will gladly give you credit.

I wrote "thank you" using my Cri-kits metallic pens in my Black Cat Lynx. (It worked soooo much better than my Cricut did!)

I also added jewels from Michael's.
