Elk card

Michael's Craft Store is having a sell on their scrapbook paper. You can get 6 sheets of open stock paper (regularly 59 cents a piece) for $1. I can't physically go to stores anymore without a LOT of pain, so my sweet husband went to pick some papers out for me.He did a great job. He got a big stack of cool papers. I made him a card.

He loves hunting and elk. I made this elk silhouette. Then I used Distress Inks to color the background. (Barn door, Rusty hinge, and Wild honey)


I would love to tell you that the double layer effect was intentional, but the truth is I just messed up on the first layer then decided to use it underneath the top layer at the last minute. LOL I will take happy accidents anytime.
