Sweet treat

I get inspiration from everything I see.
The only problem is that I usually have a lot more ideas than I do time to make all of the projects I dream up.
Well, there I was surfing through fun craft blogs when I found a cool site last week called September Ninth.
They like Cricut cartredges AND svg's. That's rare to find these days :)
The Tacky Tuesday Challenge this week is "cool treat" with the word "sweet" on the front .
It just so happened to have made a cut file for a popsicle that I have not gotten around to making yet...

... what better time than now...

When I first made this file, the shape bothered me because there was a spot that I welded that looked too flat on the card.

Now, that may not bother most people, but you know me and details...LOL
I put a seperate front piece on.
Not a big deal in the whole scheme of things, but it did make me feel better :)

Then I felt the pop needed some "pop"
(ha ha)

And then the "sweet"

Then I started thinking of an envelope. That led me to thinking of a wrapped popsicle...

I used vellum to make an envelope then put some corrugated vellum strips on the end.

The top flap folds down and the corrugated strips hold it in place.
I had fun with this :)

Here is the link to download the svg cut files and pdf templates and instructions.
There is also a popsicle card file without the bite mark. The instructions are the same for both cards.

and here is the caption

Enjoy!

Don't forget to drop by September Ninth and enter the challenge.
