Scalloped Birdhouse Box


Here is another version of my birdhouse box. This one has scalloped edges along the roof and base.

The roof also has little scalloped tiles.


I also added a "leafy flourish" to the front of the roof.


Here is a download for a free svg file for the leafy flourish.

The roof is the box lid.


I made a paper flower that I call a "simple daisy". You can find a tutorial on this and a free download of the svg and pdf on the "easy flower tutorial" tab under my blog header.

I cut the petals from white cardstock and inked the edges. I added a large teal colored rhinestone to the center.

Hope you enjoyed looking at my birdhouse box. I am off to go play with more designs :)

    OMG! I didn't think your birdhouse could get any better, but you just took it over the top. The scalloped edges and roof are just perfect, it just adds a little more dimension and WOW! to it. Beautiful job!
