Paper Cutz Challenge #110 Button Up

Hello my blog friends. Hope you are having a great week.

It is time for another Paper Cutz Challenge. This week it is time to"Button Up" by making a project with buttons on it. Check out the Paper Cutz site for more details.

I decided to make a luminary or tea light cover. It is made from paper and vellum so I used a battery operated tea light.

I used brown cardstock and cut it with an SVG that I made. I inked it with metallic inks and then added a teal colored chalk ink for a slight patina look.

Next, I cover the inside with vellum.

I added buttons and a jute like string.

Look how pretty it is lit up.
I even found a battery operated tea light that changes color.

So pretty!

Hope you enjoy my project and feel inspired! Come join us over at Paper Cutz to get in on all the fun.
